2oth of Dec '08! i should remember this day, and yet i shouldn't! Had so much fun today with my big monkey shun hao, banana xiao hao, and monkey duo shi at wild wild wet, haha! not the place fun, Singapore is too small but the person is fun to be with! Yet, i had so many injuries today and smth major embarrassing happened which is not too convenient to be revealed to the public, LOL!
Still rmb the first time i went www was with rachiee my crushie, it was super fun with her arnd! Anyway, today i rubbed my knee against the rough cement floor in the wave pool, knocked my finger on the bucket of water hanging, hit my elbow, knocked another finger at the bottom of my house, and what else... cant rmb.. im just accident prone i think..
After that, we headed to cathay to watch Yes Man! cos we had free tixs. It was quite funny, and ok i guess.. :D and i saw a ring in cathay which was perfect!
Annhyeonghyasayo! 8 days has passed, and im back from korea to sunny singapore again! :D
Day 1: Arrived at Seoul Airport at about 530am in the morning, time lag between korea n Spore is 1hr. In total, my mum, grandma and i had 6 luggages, so it was pretty heavy for me n mum to handle. The tour guide warned us about the cold weather outside the airport, we were encouraged to walk out to try it first.so i went to be the gineau pig, and walked back in feeling it was just like Genting. After an hour, headed out to the coach bus, it was FREEZINGG when the breeze blew!! we had yummy lunch, and saw SNOW falling from the sky for the first time in my life. It was BEAUTIFUL! super excited! :D Shopped at Dongdaemun, visited the winter sonata place and hotel here we come!
Day 2: I woke up to see the beautiful sunrise, and had abalone porridge for breakfast! BUT, u cant see the abalone inside it, cos it has been grinded into small pieces alr. The dragon head rock-legend of the dragon who wanted to ascend to heaven but couldnt. And of cos, the famous earth god- whom is believed that if u touched the nose, would grant ladies a baby boy! (i touched it! but not with partner though, hah!) Sunrise peak mountain had a heavenly view, but it was tiring climbing up, my mum insisted on reaching the top (lucky for the road block due to danger :D) Exciting part of today was the ATV ride, how cool is that! i rode a bike car thingy, and i was the first in line, so i experienced all the bumps first in my tour grp! Not only that, the girl behind me and i had a major collision, and our bikes were stuck together! SUPER FUN! we also went to the Da Chang Jin place where they filmed the show, and the Teddy Bear Museum! (Charlie chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, winnie the pooh- they have it all!) Lastly, we went to the mysterious road, where due to gravity, the bus could move on its own uphill without switching on its engine:)
Day 3: Domestic flight to Daegu. Visited temples, and experienced a 41 degree hot spa out in the cold air. Also, i was rather shocked by the naked women walking about confidently in the women's section, so apparently, all of us were embarrassed, and hid in a corner to change! (lucky for my oversized shirt!) a relaxing day in total. :)))
Day 4: Morning started with an exercise by climbing mountains again. Upon reaching, it was piles and piles of stones. History says of an old man who stacks stones on top of one another without any glue or water to hold it together, an't he amazing. But then again, why did he do that? lol:D We were lucky enough to see kimchi making in progress by the ah-ju-mas (aunties in korean) Visited the wine musuem and also the craftsman musuem afterwards. Nights were spent with my mum wandering about by ourselves, so fun getting lost! :))
Day 5: Visited Herbs Farm, where there was a flower which smells like a chocolate! love that flower, can i have it all around my room? Everland theme park was next! love that place! bought reindeer ears for myself! hees:D sat roller coaster X and a water log ride- got wet but happy!
Day 6: I got to try on the korean traditional costume. I LOOK WEIRD! not only that, i made my very own kimchi! it looks professional haha! :D we went to visit the palace, and Lotte World we go! We sat the pharaoh's tomb ride, and the jungle ride, and watched the christmas parades!
Day 7: Heading to singapore! Current temperature of the day is minus 8 degrees! the wind blew, and all of us ran into starbucks! haha!
